One Asset id
Pin, photo, defect, quote line, job and evidence.

UK site-work OS · faillist.co.uk
If a firm still needs Excel, WhatsApp photos, or a separate quoting tool, we have failed. One Asset id through the loop. We do not certify a door or a seal — we record that a named person installed a named system, with evidence.
New organisations start on Pilot. Crew £99 or Company £249 a month — annual 10-for-12 available. Built to install on a phone.

Priced fail list
DraftHappy path: inspect → fail list → priced quote. Not typed from scratch.
Pin, photo, defect, quote line, job and evidence.
The fail list becomes the quote. Not a second tool.
Jobs stay open until the remedy’s evidence is on the asset.
Fire doors, fire stopping, compartments, other site jobs.
The loop
Bolster, Onetrace, Boris and Door Data each own a spine. Fail List owns the path they leave in Excel: the survey becomes a priced fail list, then a job that cannot close without proof.
01
Import or pin on the drawing. Coordinates stay normalised. The Asset id is the spine — not a row that dies in a spreadsheet.
Level 2 drawing · pins at 0–1
FD-003 · P-002 · FD-005
The pin, photo, defect, quote line and evidence share the same Asset id.
02
A fail on the checklist is a defect with evidence. Failed red, quoted amber, complete green. WhatsApp is not the photo store.

Inspect → fail list → priced quote is the happy path. Rate cards apply to the work the survey already found.

Approve lines, run the job, close only when the required photos are on that same Asset id. Named people, named systems.
Job FD-003 · cannot complete yet
Required evidence on the asset
Named person, named system, photos the remedy requires. Not a certificate.

Where the work usually dies
The Fail List path
Site photographs are atmosphere, not customer work. Demo Fire in the seed data is ours. We do not invent logos.
In the product today
v1 does not claim timesheets, RAMS, BIM, accounting, or AI. It has to close the loop a contractor actually runs.
PDF drawings with overlay pins. Page, x and y in 0–1. Reload and they are still there.
Fire door, fire stopping, compartment, or other site job. QR to the asset. CSV import when you already have a list.
Checklists for fire doors and fire stopping. FAIL and OBSERVE create a defect with a photo, on the asset.
Issued quotes are immutable. Money in pence, shown in pounds. Not a per-quote meter.
Completion needs the evidence set on the remedy. No “mark complete” without photos.
CSV or PDF of the living record, plus a share link. Not a zip of PDFs in a folder.
Three skins, one database
Same records. Different work. The estate does not get a zip of PDFs and a second subscription.
Jobs and quotes for the contractor. The fail list is already priced.
Templates and defects. A fail on site becomes the quote, not a note to type up later.
The register for the customer who hired you. Same database, not a second product.
Organisation billing
One organisation bill — Crew £99/month or £990/year, Company £249/month or £2,490/year, Estate on invoice — not per door and not a second quoting tool. Cancel or update the card in the Customer Portal. VAT is not added at checkout until Fail List has an active UK VAT registration.
