Pricing

We charge the contractor organisation for the whole loop — not a survey app plus a quoting tool. Testers are on Pilot until we say otherwise.

How we intend to charge

Fail List is one product with three skins on one database: Trade (jobs and quotes), Survey (templates and defects), Estate (register). Your customers live in client folders inside your account. The subscription sits on that organisation.

  • Not per door or per penetration. Billing by asset would punish thorough surveys.
  • Not per generated quote. Inspect → fail list → priced quote is the happy path. A per-quote fee would fight it.
  • Not a second product for the estate. Estate is a skin of the same register, not a zip of PDFs and not a separate SKU.
  • Seat bands, not a meter. Crew is up to 10 people, Company up to 40. Adding an operative inside the band should not need a calculator.

These figures are a starting structure for when testing ends. They are not a live checkout. Annual Crew or Company is ten months for twelve if you want it in writing later.

What the price is for

The paid plans are meant to cover the full loop: identify assets, inspect, generate a priced fail list, run the job, and close only with the evidence the remedy requires — without Excel, WhatsApp, or a separate quoting tool. Pilot testers get the slices that exist today — organisation, people, client folders, company letterhead — without a card.

If a number here will not work for your firm, say so at hello@faillist.co.uk. We would rather hear that during testing than after a paywall.
